Let's be honest- I'm nothing special. My name is Nikki, I'm a Junior in High School, I have friends that know me pretty well and a sister I love more than anything.

But do you want to know my favorite characteristic about myself? I'm a child of God, and He thinks I'm extraordinary. He had me named Nakita Yvonne Barcus for a reason. His plan for me in my Junior year of High School is greater than I could ever fathom. He gave me friends that understand everything about me, but He wants me to understand that there is no one else in the world that will love me more than He does. He allows me to raise my sister in guidance within Him.

That, my friends, is anything but 'nothing special'.
